Dingle Berry

Virgil had some Dingle Berries this morning...Chris found them in the hallway :-O eeeew

Claws?

Can anyone confirm...is Virgil suppose to be completely declawed, or just the front. I found some claws on his back left foot. I was unable to check his right foot.

This morning...

This morning was the first time Virgil has come to me on my bed. I was in the process of hitting the snooze for like the millionth time, and he came to say hi. He hung out around my neck. Tux decided to come up and say hi too, so I was surrounded by animals. Cat hair everywhere in my face. Allergy time! ha So Virgil was hanging out for a while, and whenever he would hear Mitch's collar jingle under the bed, he would growl.

Attitude

This evening, Virgil has had such an attitude. I think it all started when he didn't hear me come home, and I scared the living day lights out of him when I busted him. He was passed out on his favorite chair. Then hearing Mitch walking around the house put him on the edgy side. I tried to talk to him and pet him but he would just mumble and grumble. I let him swat at me and try to bit me, I didn't move my hand. And all he would do was nibble. He kind of looked at me like, hmmm...you aren't scared of me are you. Then Mitch came over, he is pretty freaked out from the lightening, so he was circling like mad. Virgil was getting mad and hissing at him, but couldn't keep an eye on him b/c Mitch was circling all over the place. Because of the hissing, Mitch started to bark at him and growl. He was trying to act like a tough guy, which is pretty hard when he is wagging his tale while he is at it. Virgil swatted him and Mitch chased him down the stairs. That's basically my night in a nut shell.

Shower Curtain

Virgil loves to sit on my bathtub and chew my shower curtain. I tried to pick him up and pull him away, but he just hung on. HAHA too funny, when I'm actually taking a shower, he licks the water dripping.

Virgil seems to be getting along better with Mitch. I mean don't get me wrong, he still hisses and poofs up, but they can be in the same room now and Virgil doesn't charge after him. This to me is progress. :)

Accidently cut

Well, I was laying on the couch and fell asleep. Virgil came and was sleeping on my stomach. It was pretty cute. I guess sometime during my nap, Mitch came to see what I was doing. He came up to me and Virgil freaked out. Before I knew it, Virgil was up freaking out and I think somehow his back foot got on my face and I got a cut on my chin. It felt like I got punched or something. So I put my hand to my face and it was bleeding. I know Virgil didn't do this one on purpose, he was going after Mitch haha.

I hope they become friends eventually. It is getting better...but very very slowly.

Bonding

I think Virgil is starting to bond with me. I was watching TV and he came on my shoulder and was hanging out for a super long time purring. He started to suck on my ear lobe...which was very weird. I couldn't get him to stop. He also helped me get a knot out of my neck. He was needing it pretty hard core. No hissing today at me. He just wants to curl up and get pet. No hissing today :) which is a first.

Tables have turned

Now Virgil is scared of Mitch. haha If Virgil hisses at Mitch, he barks and Virgil goes flying downstairs. What a trip these 2 are. Mitch isn't scared anymore...I don't have to carry him in and out of the house. Keep in mind, Mitch is 40 pounds!
