Back from vacation...

Well, we got back last night and I walked in, both cats were at my feet immediately. They are friends now :) it is official. WHOO HOOOO. They were hanging out next to each other...being friends. So as I proceeded through the house, there were multiple towels in the hallway..some I have no idea where and how they found them. HA-HA the dining room table place mates were all over also. I was cracking up. I have a lot of cleaning to do today, there are fur balls EVERYWHERE. Wow, I can't believe how much they shed while we were gone. I think I can make several cats with the amount of hair around the house.

As we were sitting on the couches in the living room, Virgil was hanging out on the fire place mantel. I think he has declared that spot as his. Tux come by and they start wrestling and licking each other. I was too tired to get the camera, but I'm sure that won't be the last time they play around like that.

This morning when I got up, Virgil let me pet him. He is starving for attention... I can tell. Every time he sees me pick up Tux, he has this look in his eyes like 'I want to be held too'. So this morning I was petting him, and he jumped up on my shoulder! I was like, wow, he made the first move! this is progress! So I was holding him..he was so happy, then I think I made a wrong move and he hissed, so I put him down. Maybe later I can hold him longer. Now Tux is very jealous when I pet Virgil, so Tux is hanging out by me more being VERY VERY needy. ha-ha.

My dog is going to come next weekend. So Virgil has an extra week. We'll see how things go, when he sees there is a bigger boss of the house besides him!

Oh, they have declared both litter boxes as theirs..so I think I can move Virgil's downstairs and avoid the smell. ;) this is a good thing! :)

Day 9 - Cat Sitter

As we are on vacation, Chris's aunt Joannie is checking up on the cats. She is soo awesome for doing that! I warned her about Virgil. Her first visit checking on them, she said Virgil was soo nice at first then turned. Joannie said Virgil growled at her for a long time after that. haha poor Joannie. Then she said to me, 'there were a lot of kitchen towels in the hallway.' I started to die laughing...my response was, 'ya Virgil must of stole them from the kitchen, he likes to hump kitchen towels.' HAHA what a nut. I wonder how many towels and blankets will be on the floor when we get home this weekend.
